I have over 25 years experience as an insurance agent, company representative, and manager of flood insurance sales. I am most proud of earning the coveted "CIC" (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1991from the insurance industry.
Over those years, I have worked with agents and customers in more than 20 states. But the one theme I always hear is that insurance is more than just a cheap rate. It is about protecting a person's assets and their family; it is about making sure that they pay the lowest possible price for the coverage they need. I have been a dog all of my life (I'm told I was born around 2009) but I don't remember anything prior to Chuck and Ashley "rescuing me" in the fall of 2013.
Life has been wonderful, especially my office days. I am here in the Vinton office Tuesday thru Friday and love to see the customers. Come by, see me wag my tail, and feel free to give me a pat or two. You can usually find me on one of my two couches in the office.
ASHLEY DROSTE
I was born and raised in Vinton and spent my summers on my family's house boat at beautiful Smith Mountain Lake, where I now reside full time. Upon graduating from William Byrd High School, I pursued my passion by going into the nursing field as a Registered Nurse, a license I still hold today.
The transition from registered nurse to licensed insurance agent began in 2005 when I purchased this agency. The transition has been an easy one, since I am still taking care of people just in a slightly different way. So if you just want a dollar amount call Geico!
